‘Tranquil’ – (2019 – Dreamscapes)

Woah, woah, woah! What an absolute cracker of a sunrise I got last week down at my favourite location Bombo Quarry.
Very slippery yet so worth the shot, what do you think?
If you look a touch closer at the wet boulder close in the foreground you can see the reflection of the burning sky which I thought was unique and wicked!

HEY YOU! I know you have an empty space on your wall for one or maybe even two of my fine art landscape photographs! Get your tooshie over to my website grab your very own print. International shipping is available so no excuses if you live overseas 🙂

I decided to put together a little clip with footage I filmed during my Orkney trip. It is mainly views along the beautiful coastline and Rackwick bay on Hoy. Don’t mind the shakiness, it was very windy! I’m planning to do more filming in the future. It’s hard to convey the beauty of a place in photos alone. In this case, seeing the movement of the waves is almost hypnotic and very soothing to watch, at least to me. Since the wind was too strong to use any of the original sounds, I played along on my keyboard. Hope you like it! Leave me a comment on Youtube about what your favourite place on Orkney is if you’ve been there or if you want to go. 🙂

This is my last Orkney post and also my favourite part of our journey: A walk along the dramatic coastline of Orkney’s Mainland. The colours of the sea were beautiful and the caves created from washed out sandstone looked majestic and mysterious. Hope to be back one day.

Rackwick bay and folk museum on Hoy. Not many people live here, but there is a hostel and the walk to the Old Man of Hoy starts here.
